Organization Tips!

heyy girls,

I know sometimes it can be hard to organize your makeup or your products that you use everyday. Today, I've decided to give you some tips and storage ideas...

My first storage tips for you guys is putting things that you use every day in a little basket. I recommend putting hair and body products in the basket. Exemple, I put my Bioderma, makeup sponges, coton rounds, nail polish remover, eye makeup remover and hair heat protectant in the same basket, that way I have an easy reach to those products. You can buy those little baskets at the dollar store or anywhere you can buy decor stuff ;-)

Here is a little orgazination idea. This is in what I organize my makeup. I got this drawer from IKEA. I like it because there are many drawers and it doesn't take much place in the room.

Review: Naked Basics palette by Urban Decay

heyy girls,

today I'm here with an exciting review!! The Urban Decay Naked Basics palette!! I know I am kind of late on that but I just received it for my birthday (You might already have seen it in my Birthday Haul). So here it is...

It is perfect in my opinion ;) It is totally worth the 32$CA. I recommend it to every beginner that doesn't want to buy the Naked and Naked 2 (I also have a review on both of these). I truly love that palette it is great for traveling and I'll show you why in the next picture. **You can buy this palette at Sephora but remember...5 colors out of 6 are matte so I would not recommend this palette if you don't like matte eyeshadows!**

It is sooo teeny! Seriously! It's so cute! How can you resist? How COULD I resist to that little palette? There is also a full mirror which is always good ;) The colors are all matte except for Venus that has a pearly finish.

Here is some swatches for you guys...

left to right on both pictures: Venus, Foxy, W.O.S., Naked 2, Faint, Crave.
I'll try to describe you what the colors look like:

Venus: gorgeous pearly white highlight (pearl finish)

Foxy: kind of a yellow highlight but doesn't look straight yellow on the eyes. It is an awesome highlight too (matte finish)

Walk Of Shame (W.O.S.): very light dusty pink (matte finish)

Naked 2: light taupe (matte finish)

Faint: medium brown (matte finish)

Crave: dark brown/black, it isn't completely black like Blackout from the Naked 2 palette. It has some brown undertones. You can't really tell in the pictures though... (matte finish)

Tell me in the comments if you like this palette or would you like to own this palette yourself!

I hope you enjoyed this review,

Review: Bioderma Sensibio H2O

heyy girls,

I'm here today with a review! Those past months I've heard a lot about the Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution for sensitive skin. But is it worth it? This is what I'll be talking about in this post.

Recently I've had the chance to pick it up since my drugstore was having a promotion. They were selling two 250 ml for 29,99$ which is great because normally it's around 21$ each I think.

Topbox March 2013

heyy girls,

last week I received my March Topbox. It came fast and I was very happy about that. Here is what I got in my Topbox this month...

First, I think that the packaging is really cute!
The first thing that came in my Topbox was the MaskerAide Hydrating Facial Sheet Mask (full size). Like the name says these are facial hydrating mask. It is worth 4,99$ per mask (23g.).

Next thing that came in my Topbox was the Aveda Caribbean therapy body cream. I was so disapointed about that product because it smells soo bad/weird. The full size retails for 42$ (200 ml).

This next product is my favorite item of the bag. It is a sample of Vera Wang Lovestruck Floral Rush. It smells floral but in a good way. It is a good size sample! I'm impressed! The full size is 79$ for 50 ml or 105$ for 100 ml.

The last thing that came in my Topbox was the L'Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil. It is basically an oil that you put in your hair to nourish them. You can compare it to Argan oil except that you can use argan oil everywhere and you can only use the mythic oil on your hair. The only thing that I don't like about this oil is the scent. It smells very manly and your hair smells like that during a couple of minutes. The full size is 26$ for 125 ml.

The value of my Topbox this month is 18$. I'm kind of disapointed with that Topbox because I didn't received any makeup. Also I'm not a big fan of the body cream, the mask and the oil since I can only use it on my hair. Don't get me wrong I know we can't always have what we want on those kind of subscription services. Even if I didn't like this month Topbox I'm still going to give them another try for the upcoming months.

Tell me in the comments what are the subscription services I should try next that are available in Canada :)

Birthday Haul!

heyy girls,

Today I'm here with a Birthday haul as you can tell by the title! I asked you guys if you would be interested by a birthday haul and you guys said yes so here it is! I turned 16 years old last week so March 5th. I received money for my birthday from my family and I've decided to spend some of it with my friends at the mall. I didn't spend ALL of it because I want to save some for an other time. So here are the things that I bought...

First, I bought those things at my local mall the day before I went shopping with my friends:

- Cover Liperfection Jumbo Gloss Balm in Ballet Twist.

- Revlon nail polish in 281 Classic (I have a NOTW with that color)

- Bioderma sensibio H2O ( I got a pack of two but I forgot to take a picture of them so..I've tried to find the closest picture to what I bought)

TAG: Would you rather - Beauty Edition

heyy girls,

I found this tag recently and I've decided to do it since I thought it would be fun and who doesn't love tag anyway, huh? I certainly do love them! I know I always say that but I think it is the best way to know someone and it's quick and easy to read so....if you decide to do this tag don't forget to leave me the link in the comments  below! :)

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
Definitely my palettes and eyeshadows even if I LOVE my UD palettes...I just feel like mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipglosses are essential because you can look put together with only mascara and a lipgloss.

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Seriously!? With no hesitation: never be able to cut it again. I've been growing my hair up since 6th grade so...there is no way I'm going to chop them off XD

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
I choose coral cheek because it looks more natural on me. But I do love pink cheek too...

Must-have products for sraightening your hair!

heyy girls

Today I'm here with a post that was requested and I thought why not? it could be very helpful for those of you who wants to straighten your hair and don't know what products your need or which flat iron you should get. So this is the products that I use when I straighten my hair.

First, the product that I use that definitely changes the way my hair looks and how long my hair stay straight is my heat protector. I use the John Frieda Frizz-Ease heat defeat for straight hair. It is an amazing heat protector and it smells very good too. It says that it conditions and straightens for up to 24 hours. I absolutely LOVE that product because even if it is rainy outside my hair stay straight. It doesn't dry out my hair neither. You can buy this product at any drugstore for around 9$ I think (I'm not sure about the price).

Second, the hair straightener that I use is by the brand L'ANZA. I received this flat iron from my dad as a Christmas present a couple of years ago. It heats up fast and the surface is large enought to straight bigger piece of hair if you're in a rush. I don't know where you can buy this but I know you can buy this on amazon for 169,99$.

I hope it was helpful!
