♡ Eye Makeup Look Tutorial | Valentine's Day ♡

Heyy girls,

I was looking through my blog posts recently and I realized that I've never done a tutorial with the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. But I did an entire post with swatches of this palette if you're interested. Anyway, here I am today with this Valentine's Day eye makeup look. So, grab your Naked 3 palette and let's get started with this tutorial.

** Sometimes I look like I'm not wearing any eyeshadow, but it is because my camera doesn't have the best picture quality **

1- Apply an eyeshadow primer all over the lid. I used the Urban Decay Primer Potion.

2- Take a flat eyeshadow brush and put Strange all over the lid as a base color.

3- Then take the same brush and put the color Burnout all over the lid.

4- Take a big fluffy brush and put the color Limit in the crease. Do a circular motion on the outside of the crease for more definition.

5- Take the same brush and put a darker color called Factory on the outside part of the crease.

6- Take the same color of the beginning, Strange, and highlight the inner corners of your eyes.

♡ Nail Art | Valentine's Day ♡

Heyy girls,

I kind of wanted to continue with the topic of nails today since yesterday I did the Monday Challenge: Nails, Nails, Nails... I got very inspired to do a Valentine's day themed nail art. It is very simple and you don't need to be an expert at nail art to recreate it. If you try this nail art please send me a picture on Twitter :)

1- Apply a coat of your favorite base coat. I'm using All In One Base by Essie.

2- Apply 2 or 3 coats of a pink nailpolish.
Don't apply the nailpolish on the ring finger. We'll put another color later. I'm using Cute As A Button by Essie as my pink nailpolish.

Monday Challenge | Perfect Manicure

heyy girls,

what better than starting the week with a Monday Challenge? I know, I love it too ;) This week is all about nails. I've also decided to show you my top 5 favorite nailpolishes of all time. Let's get started!

What are the tools you use to accomplish a perfect manicure?
First tip that I can give is file your nails instead of clipping them. I've been doing this for the past month and I have seen improvements; my nails are definitely stronger.

What is your favorite nailpolish remover?
I've been using the Sally Handsen nailpolish remover since I can't even remember. It's just the product that my mom has been using for ever, and because of her I'm using it too. It does remove well your nailpolish, but isn't too harsh on your nails at the same time.

Do you have any nailcare products to recommend?
I don't really have cuticles oils or fancy stuff like that. The only thing that I could recommend is a good base coat that corresponds to your nails' needs.

Do you have any trick to help remove cuticles?
Not really. Maybe try to moisturize your hands more often.

What is your favorite base coat?
My favorite base coat at the moment is All in One Base by Essie. I bought at Winners at a discount price and it's probably the best deal I've ever made so far. I got it for 6 or 7 $CA and it retails for at least 10$CA at the drugstore. #proudofmyself

Monthly Favorites | January 2014

heyy girls,

Today I'm back with my monthly favorites for the month of January 2014. I don't really have a lot to show, but there are new stuffs that I've been loving and that I've never shown to you. Let's see what I chose this month as my favorites...
This month I've had some problems with my skin. I've been getting tiny little pimples, which I never get usually. I've been using this Freeman Facial Clay Mask in Strawberry & Chocolate. It smells divine! It also does a very good job at deep cleansing my pores.

This month, I've been loving the Seche Vite Top Coat. It really does make your nailpolish dry faster. I can't remember if I ever put it in one of my favorites, but I mean it just shows how much I really like a product ;)

I've also been liking the It's So Big Mascara by Elizabeth Mott...a lot. It gives awesome volume and it is very black, which I love.

Haul | David's Tea

Heyy girls,

if you follow me on Pinterest you know that I've recently been obsessed with David's Tea. I even did a David's Tea wishlist last week. And guess what? I also did some shopping on their website. This was my first time ordering there and I have to say that I'm very satisfied with how everything went. It was delivered in less than 3 days and nothing was damaged when I opened the package. Without further rambling, let's see what I got...

Every order comes with The Tea Menu, which I think contains every tea that they sell plus the teas of the season. I had the Winter 2013-2014 collection.

One of the thing that I ordered is this little infuser called the Mesh Ball. Basically, you put your loose tea in it and it keeps the tea in one place while it's infusing. I've tried it once and so far so good.

The first tea that I've ordered is Forever Nuts. It tastes just like Fall, if Fall could tasted something well it would be this tea. Seriously, I recommend you to try it out. It's SO good!

The last tea that I bought is called Coco Chai Rooibos. I haven't tasted it yet, but I mainly bought this tea because of my friend Maxine. She made me smell it one morning at school and I immediately fell in love with it. It smells like Coconut and Carrot cake. I know my description isn't the best, but to me Chai tea smells like carrot cake so...#dontjuge

Monday Challenge | All About Purses + My Purse Essentials

heyy girls,

I'm back today with another Monday Challenge. I hope you're enjoying them so far, because I know I am ;) This week's challenge is all about purses and I've decided to also show you my Top 5 purse essentials...

Do you prefer big purses or small ones?
I do usually go for bigger purses because I feel like I can put everything that I need in them. I also like how they look on me.

Do you change your purse regularly? Or do you use it until it's completely worn off before changing it?
I definitely don't change my purse regularly. I will wait until my purse is completely ruined or until I find another purse before changing it.

What purse is your favorite?
I haven't found my dream purse yet or a purse that I'm madly in love with... I'm on the hunt for one so leave me comments telling me your favorite purse :)

What are your dream purses?
Every night I dream of buying a Michael Kors Large Selma Top-Zip Satchel or some kind of a structured purse like this one. Since dream purses aren't supposed to be affordable, I'm going to continue with another purse that I think looks amazing; it is the Raspail MM from Louis Vuitton.

Do you match your purse with your outfit? With your shoes? Or you don't really care?
I try to make it work with my outfit, but I mostly have neutral purses so they do go well with everything. I don't really try that hard though...

♥ Ipsy Bag | January 2014 ♥

heyy girls,

a couple of days ago I got in the mail my January Ipsy Bag. To be honest with you, I don't know if I'll continue getting this specific subscription service, because I'm not enjoying it anymore. Yes, I do get excited when it comes at my door, but I feel like I am ready to move on to something new. I would love if you could recommend me good beauty subscription services in the comment section below. Anyway, here is what I got in this month's bag...

Look how pretty this little makeup bag is!

The first product that was in my January Ipsy Bag is this Mica Beauty Cosmetics Tinted Lip Balm in the color Natural. The color is simply gorgeous! It is such a pretty nude and I love the consistency of the product. I'm really excited about it and I'm intrigued to see if it will become one of my favorite lip products.

Next, I got this Willa 10 Gentle Cleansing Lavender Face Towelettes. I haven't tried it yet, but it is great to put in your purse if you ever need to wash off swatches after you get out of a Sephora or a Mac counter ;)
