♥ Ipsy Bag | January 2014 ♥

heyy girls,

a couple of days ago I got in the mail my January Ipsy Bag. To be honest with you, I don't know if I'll continue getting this specific subscription service, because I'm not enjoying it anymore. Yes, I do get excited when it comes at my door, but I feel like I am ready to move on to something new. I would love if you could recommend me good beauty subscription services in the comment section below. Anyway, here is what I got in this month's bag...

Look how pretty this little makeup bag is!

The first product that was in my January Ipsy Bag is this Mica Beauty Cosmetics Tinted Lip Balm in the color Natural. The color is simply gorgeous! It is such a pretty nude and I love the consistency of the product. I'm really excited about it and I'm intrigued to see if it will become one of my favorite lip products.

Next, I got this Willa 10 Gentle Cleansing Lavender Face Towelettes. I haven't tried it yet, but it is great to put in your purse if you ever need to wash off swatches after you get out of a Sephora or a Mac counter ;)

♥ November 2013 Ipsy Bag ♥

Heyy girls,

Two weeks ago I received my November Ipsy Bag. If you don't know, Ipsy is a subscription service where you pay 10$ per month to receive 5-6 deluxe sized beauty products. If you're curious about it you can check it out here. I have to say that I've been subscribe to Ipsy for a couple of months now and that I am very pleased with it. Here is an overview of my November Ipsy Bag...

The first thing that I got in this month Ipsy bag was this Starlook eyeliner in the color Topaz. It is a silver eyeliner, perfect for the upcoming Christmas time. As you know, I am not a big fan of Starlook's products but this eyeliner wasn't that bad. Of course, it doesn't compete with the Urban Deday's glide-on 24/7 eyeliners but it was smoother that the first eyeliner that I got in my September bag and the lip liner that I got in my October bag. The pigmentation is great though. I love how it is a full size product.

Next, I got this baked eyeshadow from BH Cosmetics in the color Aphrodite. The pigmentation is great, you can easily build up the intensity. The color is also very pretty for autumn and I have nothing bad to say about this product. You can learn more about those baked eyeshadows here.

Moving on the the next item, I got this nail polish from Nailtini in the color Champagne. I've been raving about the Nailtini's nail polishes since the beginning and this nail polish doesn't do exception. You can get a good color pay off with only one coat but I always put on two coats for a more vibrant look. What can I say more than I. LOVE. THEM. Yeah I know, I'm obsessed.

♥ October Ipsy Bag ♥

heyy girls,

last week I received my October Ipsy bag and I thought why not show you what I got in this month Ipsy bag ;) Here is what I got...

The first thing that I got is this pack of 10 facial wipes from La Fresh. It says that it is oil-free, biodegradable and compostable wet wipes made of a natural formula. I think this is more of a refreshing type of product more than a makeup remover. I haven't tried it yet but I am very excited to see if this is great or not.

Next, I got something that I was very excited about; I got a Zoya nailpolish! I was SO happy because I've never tried this brand before. The color is very pretty too. I think it is called Giovanna but I'm not sure. It is a pretty emerald green which is perfect for this season. I've tried it on two nails as an accent color and so far I like the consistency and the pigmentation.

♥ Ipsy Bag: September 2013 ♥

heyy girs,

I'm here today with another Ipsy bag post! If you don't know what Ipsy is, it is basically a monthly subscription service where you pay 10$ a month and you get 5-6 deluxe size beauty samples. So far, I've really been liking it and I highly recommend you to check it out if you're interested (here). Lets see what I got in this month Ipsy bag!...

The first thing that I got is this sample from Michelle Phan's new cosmetics line. It is called EM and I'm very excited to try those eyeshadows out and the blush too ;)

Next, I got this Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter. It is suppose to be a brow bone highlighter I guess but sincerely I don't really think it is that brightening. This is why I use it on my water line to make me look more awake.

I also got this Starlook eyeliner in ObsidianI have to say that I don't really like it. The color seems to be black and it doesn't come off very black on my hand. It also doesn't go on smoothly. I was very disappointed with that product...

To obtain that color I went over and over with the eyeliner.
Next, I got the It's So Big! mascara from Elizabeth Mott. I like it. I think it is a good mascara, it is very black and I LOVE the brush. I'm not sure if I would repurchased it though because I haven't worn it enough to really have an opinion.

In my Ipsy bag, I also received this Cailyn tinted lip balm in Big Apple. First, I HATE the color. Don't get me wrong, I love me some red lipsticks but this is the ugliest red I've ever seen. Seriously!?! I don't really know how to describe it...it just looks cheap on the lips (??). AND it is SO much drying on the lips and it is suppose to be a LIP BALM. I love the applicator though...and the pigmentation of the product but that's it ;)

The last thing that I got is this NYX eyeshadow in 108 Golden Puppy. I really don't like the color. I like the texture and the pigmentation though... I just wish that I've gotten another color than this yellow one.

♥ Ipsy Bag August 2013 ♥

heyy girls,

a week ago I received my August Ipsy Bag! I was so excited because this time I didn't look on the website to see what would be on my bag for the month of August. So it was a total surprise for me and I was very excited about EVERYTHING. Here is what I got as deluxe beauty samples in my monthly subscription bag.

The first thing that I got this month is this Kosher Natural lipbalm in the vanilla scent. It smells soooo good! It is also very moisturizing and I like it a lot. I will definitely use this product in the upcoming future.

Next, I got this Pixi Lash Booster Mascara. I've never heard of that product before but I hope it will work well for me. The only down side to it is that the brand Pixi is only sold in store in the US...

♥ July Ipsy Bag 2013 ♥

Heyy girls,

Today I got home and I saw that my Ipsy bag has arrived! If you don't know what is Ipsy, well...it is a monthly subscription bag where you pay 10$ a month to receive sample of skincare, makeup and hair products. Here is what I received for the July 2013 Ipsy bag...

**I apologize for the quality of the pictures. I took them with my Iphone because I forgot my camera.**

I love the packaging! I love how pretty it is in hot pink with the Ipsy logo in white...I like it a lot than my Topbox.

Here is everything that I received in my hot pink bubble wrap enveloppe...

The first thing that I got is the Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray. I am very excited to try it out. I love that it is a good size sample ;)

The bag for the month of July is this hot pink translucent makeup bag. I don't know why but it makes me think of the pool when I look at it... It has been crushed during the travel but I don't really mind.

The first thing that I took out of the makeup bag is this Coola Face Moisturizer with a mineral sunscreen in it of SPF 20. It is an organic suncare and it is unscented. I'm VERY excited to try it out!!

The next thing that I got is the Nailtini nail polish in Mai Tai. I LOVE Nailtini nail polishes so I am SUPER excited to add this new nailpolish to my collection. I also love the color, it is a beautiful red with orange undertones.

I also got the BH cosmetics California Collection eyeshadow sample. It has 3 eyeshadows in it from 3 different new eyeshadow palettes from BH cosmetics. I don't really like the purple since it is kind of chalky and not very pigmented but the two other colors are very good quality in my opinion.

The last thing that I got in my Ipsy bag is this Pop beauty Pouty Pop Crayon in Coral Crush. It is very pigmented which makes the application a bit difficult but it is still a great product.

JANUARY GLAMBAG

heyy girls,

I received my Ipsy bag not long ago and I've decided to do a review on it since I won't be subscribing for the February Ipsy Bag. I didn't unsubscribe because I hated it. I really like Ipsy but I wanted to try a new subscription service. Next month I will do a blog post about a new subscription service named Topbox. Stay tuned for that ;-) The theme of this month was "Super Stars". Let's see what I got this month...

First thing that came in my January Ipsy Bag was the Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter. It is a very moisturizing cream. I've been using it for a couple of days and I LOVE it. It smells sooo good! The consistency in very creamy. The full-size retails for 15$ at pacificaperfume.com.

I got the Big Sexy Hair Spray and Play volumizing hairspray. I have nothing much to say about it since I haven't tried it. Tell me in the comments below of you tried it if so tell me what you think about it. The full-size retails for 17,50$ at Ulta.

DECEMBER GLAMBAG

heyy girls,

I received my Ipsy bag a couple of days ago. I was sooo excited because of the sneek peaks that they gave us on the Ipsy website. The theme of this month was Haute Holiday. If you don't know what Ipsy is, it is a monthly subscription where you pay 10$ in the US or 14$ in Canada per month to receive a little makeup bag full of deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. In my opinion, I really think Ipsy is worth it because you can try products without spending a lot of money and I also think that it is perfect for people like me that are building their makeup collection and want to experiment with products before buying full size. Let's see what I got in my bag this month...

left to right: Mai Couture, Be a Bombshell Cosmetics, NYX, Mirabella and Urban Decay

First thing that I got was the Mai Couture Highlighter Papier. There are 25 sheets in this booklet. You use it to highlight the high points of your face like the top of your cheekbones and the bridge of your nose. The packaging is sooo pretty! I'm really happy with that product. The full size contains 50 sheets and costs 28$. You can buy that product at www.maicouture.com.

NOVEMBER GLAMBAG

Heyyy girls,

So I just received my Ipsy bag for the month of November. The theme of the month was Party Perfect. It was the first time that Ipsy shipped to Canada. In my bag I got the Nailtini: nail lacquer in Lacquer 311 Millionaire (full size), Éclos anti-aging regenerative cream (sample), Benefit they're real mascara (sample), Starlet cosmetics eye pencil in chocolate, The Blam Meet Matt single eyeshadow in Matt Batali (sample) and they also sent me, as a bonus item for the first time shipping to Canada, a fluffy myglam eyeshadow brush.

The Nailtini nail lacquer in Millionaire is a gold, blue and pink glittery nailpolish. There are bigger chunks of gold and blue glitters and smaller pink ones. It's so pretty! You can wear it alone or on top of another nailpolish. The applicator is large and flat so it's easier to use. You can buy it at tinibeauty.com for 13$.

The Starlet cosmetics eye pencil in chocolate has a very good pigmentation and glides on easily. The color is very pretty and I can't wait to try it out. The packaging is also very pretty and feminine. You can buy it at starletcosmetics.com for 11$.
