The makeup look that I've created today is very easy, but that's not it! It's also very affordable because I've decided to use ONLY drugstore products. I did my first youtube video for this tutorial because I thought it would be easier to follow this tutorial :) By the way, I know that my skin is not perfect and I don't think anyone is, plus my hair looks like crap but hey I'm human too ;) xox

Montlhy Favorites | July 2014
Heyy girls,
Wow! This month is already over... and I'm glad it is because very disappointing things happened to me this month. For example, they had to let go of some of the staff where I work and I was one of them. So, I currently don't have a job but it's okay since I live with my parents (I don't have bills to pay). I try to see the positive side of it: I'll have more time to write post on my blog and I might also start doing videos, and the most important thing: I can finally wear nailpolish.
The first product that I've really been loving this month is the Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream. I did a review a couple of weeks ago (here). For some reasons, my hands have been very dry lately so this hand cream has been my life savior because I hate the feeling of dry hands.
I've also been enjoying this sunscreen from Neutrogena. To me, this is the best sunscreen you'll ever find at the drugstore. You can choose from other level of SPF (you don't have to use a 110 SPF like I do). It doesn't feel greasy on the skin and it dries so quickly, plus it doesn't break me out (I use it mainly on my face). So if you ever have the chance to pick up the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen, I would highly recommend it!
This month, I have discovered a new favorite in the mascara department. Yes, you read it right. I am no longer in love with my Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara. I replaced it with my new love of the moment: Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara (I have the waterproof version). I just love how it separates my lashes while also adding some volume. Love it.
Lately, I've been broken out a bit more than usual and I think it's because I ran out of my Micheal Todd Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub. So, obviously I needed a new facial scrub to get the dry skin and the dirt out of my face. I had a little sample of the Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Skin Exfoliant and I'm glad I tried it before buying another facial scrub because I'm in love with it. This is VERY exfoliating but in the good way. They say to use it once or twice a week and I totally understand why. I might do a review of this product if you're interested ;)

Review | Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette
Heyy girls,
I've been testing out this product for a while now and I'm finally ready to give you my opinion about the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette. Let's get started!
How's the packaging?
The packaging is very sturdy and doesn't feel cheap at all. It has a magnetic closure which helps keeping your eyeshadows safe. I like the fact that there is a mirror in it, it makes applying your eyeshadows easier because you doesn't have to use another mirror. And I love the design of the top part of the palette, it's very feminin and classy.
I forgot to put a picture of it, but it also comes with a little How-To Guide where they show you 3 different looks that you can recreate with this palette.
What are the colors?
From left to right: Heaven (matte cream), Cashmere Bunny (matte medium brown), Sexspresso (matte dark brown), Silk Teddy (shimmery champagne), Push-Up (shimmery brownish dusty rose), Erotica (shimmery grayish dark brown), Nudie (matte light brown), Honey Pot (shimmery gold), Chocolate Martini (dark brown with gold reflex).

Haul | Drugstore Beauty Products
Heyy girls,
So, I went to the drugstore. Again. Please don't jugde ;)
The first thing that I picked up at the drugstore is the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in the color translucent. I already own this product but I've hit pan, so I thought why not buy a back up? It was around 9$CA.
Then, I got a great deal on the Revlon Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya, so I couldn't resist! It was 4$CA each instead of 9-10$CA each. I almost bought more than one but there was only one color that really catch my eyes and it was this one. It is a gorgeous coral, perfect for summer.
While we are on the lip products topic, I also bought this lipgloss from Essence. To be honest, I only bought this lipgloss because I thought the stand was really cute. I wish I had taken a picture of it to show you. But basically it was all pastel with bows, really girly you know ;) It is from their Cookies & Creams collection and the color is 01 Macaron, C'est Bon!. Yes, it is French inspired if you are wondering. It was also very cheap, like 2,50$CA and I'm very happy with it!

Mini Haul | Sephora & Mac
Heyy girls,
Yes. I finally got around to it. Some of you might know (if you follow me on Twitter or on any social media sites) that I first lost my camera, then I bought a new one, and when I was to take pictures of my haul I totally forgot some of the products at my dad's. So, please excuse me for taking so much time before putting this post up :)
So, I'll just start with what I got at the Mac counter. I only got one thing but this is something that I've been wanting to try for so long... I got my first Mac lipstick! I picked the shade Creme Cup because I wanted an everyday color (for the price I definitely want to maximise my uses). If it's saying something to you, it is probably because I put it as one of my June 2014 Favorites.
Then, I did some damage at Sephora. Nothing drastic if you compare it to other beauty blogger hauls but it was enough for me.
So, I'll start with the boring stuff. I first bought this pack of 10 hair ties because I love those kind of hair ties and I needed more of these (I swear!). I think it was 7$CA for that entire pack.
Then, I finally got around buying my first ever palette from Too Faced. I chose the Natural Eyes Palette but seriously it was a tough decision because they have so much different variations! But I am a neutrals kind of girl, so this palette is perfect for me. It also came with a little How-To Guide which is great if you're a beginner or if you want some inspiration.
And lastly, I got a mini size version of the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray. I bought this product because I wanted my prom makeup to last longer. I think it was around 20$CA for this tiny bottle, which is why I won't be using it everyday. #tooexpensiveifyouaskme

Monthly Favorites | June 2014
heyy girls,
I just realised that June is over! Wow! I can't believe it. This month was a crazy month for me and to be honest, I'm glad it's over. If you want to know why this past month has been insane for me, I'll link my update post that I did a couple days ago (here).
That being said, I didn't discover revolutionary products but I've been loving some stuff that I thought would be nice to share with you :) I'll even add some random stuff that I've loving at the end because I think it can be helpful to some people.
The first product that I've been loving this month is an old favorite of mine. Yes, you've guessed it: Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream in 13. It's truly the best cream eyeshadow that I've tried so far. The color is just gorgeous; it reminds me of Sin by Urban Decay with a bit more gold reflects. I did a review and a comparaison post on this product last summer I think.
Another old favorite of mine that I need to share because I'm still using it almost everyday and that's a first for me. I've been using the MAC Omega eyeshadow a lot this month (like everyday) to fill in my eyebrows. Love it. Can't get enough of it.
But don't worry I've also discovered new products like the MAC lipstick in Creme Cup. In the store, I hesitated between this one, Angel and Creme d'Nude. And now that I'm thinking about it, I think I'm going to purchase the Creme d'Nude too.
