Haul | Drugstore Beauty Products

Heyy girls,

So, I went to the drugstore. Again. Please don't jugde ;)

The first thing that I picked up at the drugstore is the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in the color translucent. I already own this product but I've hit pan, so I thought why not buy a back up? It was around 9$CA.

Then, I got a great deal on the Revlon Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya, so I couldn't resist! It was 4$CA each instead of 9-10$CA each. I almost bought more than one but there was only one color that really catch my eyes and it was this one. It is a gorgeous coral, perfect for summer.

While we are on the lip products topic, I also bought this lipgloss from Essence. To be honest, I only bought this lipgloss because I thought the stand was really cute. I wish I had taken a picture of it to show you. But basically it was all pastel with bows, really girly you know ;) It is from their Cookies & Creams collection and the color is 01 Macaron, C'est Bon!. Yes, it is French inspired if you are wondering. It was also very cheap, like 2,50$CA and I'm very happy with it!

Manicure Monday | Blue Intrigue

Heyy girls,

for this week Manicure Monday I decided to dig back into my "old" nailpolishes. I found a Revlon Colorstay nailpolish that I haven't worn in a while. If you follow my blog since the beginning, you might have already seen this color, but oh well. I just think that this is such an unique color and that it deserves to be talked about more.

This week, I am wearing on my nails...(drum rolls) Revlon Colorstay 030 Intrigue. It is a grey-ish blue with a silver sheen to it. To me it is a great color to transition into Spring. It isn't too bright, neither too dark. It is nothing dramatic, but you still get that pop of color. I don't remember how good the staying power is and I haven't worn it long enough to tell.

On my ring finger, I am wearing Essie Butler Please. I hesitated painting my nails this color instead of the Revlon Intrigue that I am wearing in those pictures. Since my nails were painted with a more neutral toned blue, I decided to add this bright deep blue color. It adds some dimension and a pop of color.

For my base coat, I am wearing the usual ; Essie All In One Base Coat.

And I protected it with the top coat from Seche Vite. As you can tell I am obsessed with this product!

First Impression & Review | Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm

heyy girls,

a couple of days ago I bought my very first Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm. I've seen them in stores for a couple of months now, and I don't know why, but I've never thought about trying them out even though I love matte products, as you can tell by my obsession for the Naked Basics by Urban Decay. So, here is my first impression and mini review of this product...

The color
I got the color Elusive. I think it is one of the most wearable colors of all the line. It is VERY pigmented, which was very surprising coming from a balm. This product doesn't look good when you have dry lips. It definitely makes them look worst. It isn't super drying on the lips though, but it's neither moisturizing. They have ten colors to choose from that go from nude to bright.

Swatch
Here is what Elusive, the only color that I own, looks like...

The staying power
It isn't super long lasting and I don't think it was meant to be that way. For me, it last 3-4 hours, and after it does leave a rosy tint of my lips before wearing off completely. I do have to reapply it after I eat.
