today I'm back with a review of the Tarte Maracuja Oil. I got a tiny sample of this product when I bought a Tarte holiday kit at Sephora the other day. I've been using the Tarte Maracuja Oil at night for more than a week now and I'm finally ready to give you my opinion about this product/review it for you.
First, I really like the packaging. The dropper is very practical and distributes well the product. I haven't had any problem with the dropper. The product is contained into a purple glass container that isn't totally opaque so you can see how much product you have left.
I won't recommend the Tarte Maracuja Oil for people with oily skin because I don't think that adding more oil is a good idea. It is a good face moisturizer for people who has normal to dry skin. Again, if you have extremely dry skin I don't think that this product will be super effective on you.
In this time of year, I have dryer skin with a slightly oily t-zone but nothing dramatic where I have to put powder over to take away the excess shine. I pour two drops of this moisturizing oil on my fingers and then I rub in it into my face. It doesn't have an oily feel on my face, if you know what I mean. It has more of a "dry" feeling where I can't feel my face wet because of the maracuja oil.
When I wake up in the morning, my face feels soft and hydrated. It didn't make me break out and I had no problem with it so far. It does have a slight oil scent though, but nothing overwhelming. You can't smell it when it's on your face.
In conclusion, I've really been enjoying the Maracuja Oil and I would recommend you to try it out in a set before buying it, because oils aren't for everybody.
