Review: Naked 2 palette by Urban Decay + makeup tutorial

Part 1        

I've been playing with the Naked 2 for a couple of weeks now since I got it for Christmas 2012. I think I like it better that the Naked. The shades are more in a cooler tone than the Naked. In my opinion this palette has more essential colors like Foxy which is a gorgeous highlighter and Blackout which is matte black, perfect to set your eyeliner or to line it with an eyeliner brush for a more natural look. It comes with a mini Lip Junkie Lipgloss in the color Naked and a Good Karma Shadow/Crease Brush. It retails for 50$US or 60$CA at sephora.com.

Part 2

I've decided to create a look at the opposite of what I did last week. Hope you'll enjoy it!

1. Prime your eyes with your favorite primer. I used the Urban Decay Primer Potion.

2. Apply the color Half Baked all over the lid with a flat eyeshadow brush.

3. Apply the color Chopper on the outer half of the eye with the same shadow brush that you used to apply Half Baked.

4. Apply the color Snakebite in the crease and on the outer V shape with a crease brush.

5. Line the lower lash line with the color Half Baked.

6. Line the outer half of your lower lash line with the color Chopper.

7. Line the very outer corner of your eye with the color Snakebite to join the color together.

8. Line your upper lash line with the color Blackout.

9. Soften that liner with the color Snakebite.

10. Highlight your inner corner and your browbone with the color Foxy.

11. Put a little bit of the color Bootycall on the center of the lid. It helps to give more dimensions.

12. Curls your lashes.

13. Apply a coat of your favorite mascara. I'm using the Covergirl lashperfection mascara.
